I have never really given it much thought until lately how much Norville scratches himself. This guy has been through EVERYTHING. I got him at a few weeks old and nursed him with a dropper. He was bones and full of worms. His mother had died. He was sickly his first 6 months and finally his eye started looking good the last 3 months. He will be 1 year the end of this month. The only food I could ever find that he could eat and NOT get sick on was CAT CHOW NATURAL W/ VIT.and MIN. Seemed to do great. Never would even try a treat like Mia though. All other foods I tried he had diarreah on. Even grain Free foods. I am on SSDI and it just got to expensive doing all this so we had to try this and it just happened to work!!!! Well I got to thinking about it and a couple months ago I started giving them both at night only 1/4 can of Friskies wet food, rotating types. He loves almost all the pates and hasn't gotten sick on any but one. I don't know if the scratching is coincidence or not. OMG if I take this away they will FREAK!!! He gets to scratching so hard though that his leg goes up and down and thuds on the floor and has woken me and I have thought someone was at the door. He is declawed so to get relief he has to scratch hard (no talk about declaw please). I looked and see no flare ups of skin, redness, flakiness. I have never had an animal, myself or my kids (except to medicines) have allergies so I'm at a loss.
