Question of the Day - Thursday 7th May

It's Election Day here today in the UK.

Ive just got back from voting at the polling station and I got soaked. :lol3: I decided to walk there as the polling station is only a 5-10 minute walk from my house. I got there fine but on the way back it decided to chuck it down with rain and hail.
Guess what ? Soon as I got home it stopped and the sun is now shining


So today's question is .........


Whats the weather like today where you are ?

Ah doesn't that just figure!  Last fall I was grocery shopping with both my kids and it was coming down hard!  I threw the kids in the car and threw all our groceries in the back but I still got drenched.  I wear glasses and I had to dry them just to see to drive.  By the time I got home; and into the garage!! it was only sprinkling.     I don't remember why I didn't try sitting in the store to wait it out.  

Today is quite gorgeous!  It's 75 and partly cloudy.  Perfect!  We've had a little heat wave going on.  It's like it went from cool to hot!!  My body needs time to adjust to these temperatures!  So today's weather is great!  It's a pure shame to be running the AC here in the beginning of May!  Today we can do open windows again!  And the girls probably won't spend much time stretched out on the kitchen floor! 

That figures. That would have happened to me too. 

It's 82 and mostly sunny here. A few clouds here and there. Rainy/hurricane season will be here soon. 

Beautiful and 75 here today, we finally had 1/2 inch of rain over the last few days. Everyone else east of us have flood warnings, I swear we have a dome over our city! But in case soneone is listening, I AM THANK FULL FOR THE 1/2 INCH!!!!

83 F, sunny and clear.  It's supposed to go up a bit more to 86 F

It's in the mid 80's now but the report says it may hit 90. Summer is here!

71 F right now and we are to get to around 78 F. Sunny! Beautiful! Lovely! Warm! Warm! Warm!  (And I couldn't walk again today because I had to work over lunch. Like that for most of this week.)

Perfect spring day.  About 74 degrees, sunny as can be, no humidity.

It's actually really nice here in Blackpool which is quite shocking because it been peeing down for days!

We have a film being made on the Promenade with Samuel L Jackson and other famous people. They tried to film on the Prom on the 5th, they put all fake snow down and it was peeing down so they couldn't film

Sunny and very warm in the northern Appalachians...about 86°. [emoji]127802[/emoji] Almost too hot?

Sunny and warm! i'll say it's at least 70 degrees here right now. intellicast says it's only 65 right now, but that's based on reading from some 'nearby' station -- we're a hamlet, so too small to have anything like a weather meter/station here. it feels much warmer than 65 though.

our soil is quite dry right now too. but we're forecast to get rain starting on saturday/saturday night, and the rain is forecast to continue for 4 or 5 days. we surely need it!

We ended up at 90 F this afternoon.  That is really warm for this time of year, I hope this isn't a sign for the summer.
