ACV for Cat UTI

Hello,
I brought my kitty to the vet today after id noticed frequent trips to litter box then shower and a tiny amount of pink urine. We were given antibiotics to treat for UTI. I am not a huge fan of antibiotics especially since there was no urine to collect so how do they even know kitty has an infection? My question is can i use ACV to treat a UTI while she is on antibiotics? And if she does not have an actual infection, if it is cystsis (inflammation of sorts) do i use ACV to treat that as well? And what is the doseage? Thank you in advance.

The diagnosis is presumptive based on blood in the urine and straining, not 100% without a urine culture but a very good bet, and using antibiotics is safe and effective with UTI's.  Being concerned about using (or over using) antibiotics in humans especially for the wrong reasons is valid, but its not the same in cats.

Did the vet give anything else? Many often prescribe pain killers, anti inflammatories & anti spasm medicine too. I can understand your apprehension with antibiotics without having a culture. I have no personal experience using apple cider vinegar with cats.
