Sorry I haven't replied. I got sick ontop of everything.

Still no kittens but mama is doing well.

She is t constipated, don't think she needs any help at this point. We think the panting might just be stress. Other than when I brought her home monday, no more panting

She's more quiet today, just wants to snuggle.

We shall see soon when the ️babies come

Of course, as she is big, the lungs are squeezed, and its more difficult to take deep breths.  I suppose it adds to a panting alike behavior is easy to get.  Just some extra stress and they pant...

Can it be so she has dropped now, and its why she is not longer panting??   Ie a little better place for the lungs?

It's quite possible, but I dont think she's dropped, she's the same as when I originally thought she dropped

She is laying in her box now, that she hasn't done yet. Although she also peed on all the bedding I gave her so I took it out to wash and now she's in there! [emoji]128531[/emoji]

I have no idea how far along she is or if she is over due. The vets at my work have no idea what to tell me and everyone is surprised she hasn't poped yet

I think this might be it. Although I've been here before hahaha!!

️Babies are lower in her stomach, I can feel them. They aren't really moving as much today. She is very vocal, grooming more than usual and keeps going into her box to fluff up the blankets, while growling a bit. If I leave her side she freaks out with crying I've neaver heard before.

Breathing is labored but not panting...

Hopefully tonight's the night! And no complications come up

I don't know when I should be intervening!

She's had maybe 3-5 contractions in the last hour. Since the first two, she had a blood sack appear at her vulva, but the contractions she's had are weak.

Is the kitten stuck? My vet said not to intervene at this point but everything says that after an hour is trouble but she also hasn't had strong contractions

What is happening now? Has she made progress? Or does she in any way seem distressed beyond the normal pain of contractions?

Oh, thank goodness! And she is cleaning it up and bit the cord? Or is she already contracting again? Mama kitty is working very hard! Be sure she has food and water nearby in case she needs refreshment. This is a big day for you too! :)

Placenta is eaten, she chewed the cord. I had to break the sack over its face because she didn't do that. As soon as I did and it cried she started cleaning it! She had food and water beside her box and she looks like a proud mama. No contractions yet.

He/she is having trouble latching but I'm sure that will come in the best 30 mins or so! She's still grooming

Just had another one! Much small and calmer !!

All sounds well! So glad you are there to help your first-time mom! Yes, they will latch as soon as they have an opportunity. Mom is very busy right now!

Just the two so far. I know she has at least 1-3 kittens in her. From the xray and I feel one moving...

No contractions as of yet, but everything is going well! . She didn't eat the secod placenta so I took it away

Oh, how precious! She looks proud and interested! I know you are feeling relieved now that kittens are actually here. So they thought three on the x-ray?

I am. I was rest to rush her to the nerest hospital when she didn't pass a kite. After 2 hours, but he is huge, and she screamed when she had him (pretty sure they are both male) . She had 4-5 on xray but it wa hard rose due to the poop. I couldn't count skulls, and it's hard to count the spines

So far just the two still but I in love! And she's such a proud mama!
