Hello. Our cat either bumped his lower lip or got an infection while rubbing his face against something. There does not appear to be any pus and it is not causing him visible discomfort. In case it is infected, are there any suggestions on how to treat it? I was thinking of a spray on poly sporin? Thoughts?
Thanks....

Can you take a photo?  I can't recommend home remedies but if it doesn't get better, or if it gets worse then a vet visit is certainly in order. If its inflamed then it is possibly infected even if you don't see pus.
