Okay! So I have a chihuahua that is 5 and a half weeks pregnant (planned breeding) and I'm really curious as to what color pups she might produce, I'm still trying to get the hang of the whole genetics thing, but she's sable (Clear sable I think is what it is technically but maybe I'm wrong all together) with white markings and her mom was red (light red), and her dad was white with fawn markings (she was born in a litter of 3, one of them was red Merle and the other was silver, so there's a lot of color in her background)
The stud we bred her to has what I believe is called 'creeping tan points' he almost has a saddle but not quite. His dad was tri color with a saddle and his mom I'm not sure about (I'm thinking red but I may be wrong). He throws puppies of all colors (he's had Black and Tan, tri colors with lots of white or just a little, red and white and light red that looks like apricot with white, also white puppies with red markings or tri markings) so there's a lot of color in his background too.
So I have a feeling that I'm going to have lots of red or red and black. But I'm wondering if there's a good possibility for lighter colors too?

I do have more pictures of them plus some pictures of parents/siblings/and his past puppies but it might take me a while to find them!
Thanks :)

Oh, goodness.  I don't know anything about breeding, but the parents certainly are pretty.  I expect you'll get a mix. I had a solid black teacup Chihuahua and she was adorable.  I have actually studied genetics, but don't remember enough to give any sort of a logical answer.  You never know when a recessive gene might turn up and you get a puppy of a different color.
