I'm visiting my sister in Texas. A few days ago we were walking on the beach and saw some guys throwing something off the pier. As it washed up on the beach we found it was a mama cat and her kittens. We found three still alive . I think they are around 6 weeks old. She is keeping 2 and I want to take one back to Montana on Friday. She is white and deaf. My sis still works and doesn't think she can care for a special needs kitty. My problem is the airlines said she has to be at least 10 weeks old to fly. Any ideas how i can pull this off????

In all 50 states there are laws against animal cruelty, after I found those cats I would have called it in to the police. As for the deaf kitten, maybe your sister can raise her for just a few weeks and then fly her up to you? Or if you can get on the internet and see if any one is driving from Texas to your state and can maybe bring her? I raised a deaf kitten and I can guarantee you that there is no special 'needs' to consider. They act perfectly normal and learn to compensate. Mine could sense the vibrations when someone approached, and came to us when we flashed the lights on and off. I'll pray that you find a solution, those poor babies need someone to love them!
