My kitten has this on her paw/nail area (picture attached) it doesn't hurt her and she plays around like normal and walks fine. She seems to have no fur growing around it. What do you think it is ?

Iv only had her for 2 weeks now because I found her without a mum. Her toe was like that when I got her. She is only 5 weeks old. There are no insects where I am I live in the suburbs so it's pretty clean, plus she stays inside most of the time because she's so small

It reminds me a bit of when my cat got into a fight with the neighbour's cat and ended up with his claw half ripped out. It did heal up OK, but it's always been a little funny and sticks out more.
Your kitty's claw looks quite swollen though, and I wonder if there is some underlying issue that could get worse if not dealt with. Has she been to the vet yet for a health check? A vet would certainly want to take a look at that.
