I took her to a new vet, she recently opened up a clinic and she specializes in feral cats! Nodd is doing good, she was in heat and so they are keeping her overnight. She has my pillow to keep her company- we pick her up tomorrow morning-

I'm picturing a grown man with two kitties clung to his legs refusing to budge.

Sending healing vibes to Noddy and Racer.

LOL There was one night, - she was trying so hard to find a boy outside, the neighbors were calling to complain about the noise! We had her sectioned off in the new addition she couldn't get outside, but the new addition is still not all the way enclosed and she was LOUD! I was never so thankful to go the vet in my life! I rarely deal with cats in heat! Thank God! LOL

Noddy came home this morning, she looks good. She is in the bedroom and a little loopy, but okay. Her sisters went in briefly to welcome her back and now they are keeping vigil outside the door of our bedroom.

Uh oh- 5 minutes ago Wink went into heat- LOL so much for sleeping tonight! I will call the vet in the morning and see if I can possibly sneak her in. I am witholding her food now in the hopes I can take her in

I've only ever had to deal with Esper in heat. And I still remember the racket she made. And I was living in an apartment. I had to warn all the neighbours and assured them that I was getting her spayed so it wouldn't be an ongoing problem. I couldn't tell one neighbour as she was at work. When she got back, she promptly knocked on my door infuriated because she thought I was harming Esper. But I was able to explain and had a little chuckle about it.

And she was still calling when I dropped her off at the vet. It didn't help that a male stud was there for a check up either.

Good luck with Wink!
