I have two sister cats, one has just had kittens and the other one has not. The non-pregnant cat now hisses and fears the mother cat. I have never seen this before, and it worries me, since they always would nuzzle up and kiss each other, that was until the kittens had come. Now the cat avoids food and water to avoid the other cat alone, or with the kittens.

Hello @markzmen and sorry about the delay in responding.  Even though this isn't actually about the mother and kittens, you may find more help in this forum, so I've moved it.

I'm presuming the non-pregnant cat has not been spayed?

The mother cat may smell different after giving birth and while nursing. That would mean her sister not recognising her. I would feed them separately for awhile but I think as long as they are not fighting and the kittens are OK, then just let them gradually sort it out.
