I got a kitten a few weeks ago, she was only about three weeks old and her mother had abandoned her :C, she's probably approximately 5 weeks now and i've been feeding her a mixture of KMR Second Step and Wellness Kitten Formula wet food. As you may know, the KMR comes with a scoop that measures both tablespoons and teaspoons. I've been feeding her random measurements trying to figure out how much I should feed her. I always feel like I'm not feeding her enough. Her vet tells me to feed her as much as she can eat, but that isn't very helpful. She's only about 1.05 lbs, so I feed her 4 times a day. Any good ideas on formula to wet food ratio? (keep in mind you mix x amount of water into the KMR)

Probably about half kmr to half kitten food, more or less kmr to make a soupy or paste consistency. I've not ever mixed their formula with the food, I've always fed them some food, rubbing a little on their mouths, carefully watching fingers and then letting them eat it, then offering them the bottle. Be sure now that you get the pate, smooth style cat food, or turkey baby food, without any garlic or onion powder. An over-eager kitten will choke on chunk/flake/sliced food. Please keep us updated on how she does.
