Hi, I wonder if someone can assist me, I have a big black cat, named Baby Bear, he is neutered and was born on 16th April 2013 and he just keeps growing.

He measures from neck to nose 14cms, neck to tail 37cms, tail 30cms and his height is 29cms.

He is a fully indoor cat as are all my other cats. I have 2 other cats and a kitten. Baby Bear is just weirdly big. His mom is a tabby and his dad is a normal black and white domestic cat. they have a huge play gym.  I am at home basically every day and we have various play toys kitty lazer, floor toys, feathers on sticks etc so the have loads of exercise and the other 2 cats are of normal size. hope this message gets to you.
thanks for trying to help

The cat that I am asking questions about it the pure black one the black and white cat is his dad as you can see he is way bigger then his dad and he keeps growing.

I don't think he is abnormally large.  I know there are some breeds of kitties that don't reach their full size until around age 3 so those genetics could possibly be in the mix..  Have you asked your vet about it?  I really don't think it's anything to be concerned about but you could mention it the next time you have a kitty in for a wellness check.

He doesn't look overweight. Some cats are just big. There's probably some American Shorthair in him - they're naturally big cats, and, as is often the case with larger breeds, mature later (ie take longer to be full grown). You do get the occasional larger than normal cat even with bigger breeds. I had a pair of British Shorthairs as a kid. They were each around 14lbs...and one of them was the runt of the litter! They had a brother called Giant who was significantly bigger than usual even for that big breed. Oversize cats do happen. So long as he's healthy and happy I wouldn't be overly worried.
