Thank you everyone! I am so happy and can't stop looking at the ring lol! I truthfully didn't think I would be this excited but I am!

LOL Sess! No decisions made since we aren't really going to have a wedding. Neither of us can see spending money on a one day ordeal that to us isn't the meaningful part of marriage, not to mention our families together make all of 2 people, his mom and my mom lol, and we have only but a few close friends. . . so between our views on marriage and the lack of people to invite to such an event, there will be no wedding for us. We will probably just go to the courthouse, but we do want to celebrate in some special way with our moms and maybe a few friends so we're going to plan maybe a weekend retreat or something to take place sometime right after we officially get married. No real ideas though yet!

I'm going to try and take a good pic of the ring, I took a few earlier but it seems that it's fairly hard to take a good pic of a shiny small object!

Sunni, I'm so happy for you! The proposal sounds perfect & so does that ring! I'm dying to see it! I can just hear the excitement in your post so I can only imagine how thrilled you are right now.

Congrats Sweetie!

Congratulations Sunni!! I'm so happy for you.

The day you get married is the one you'll remember for the rest of your life and tell your kids about. TIP: If you make it a church and dress event be sure to get a photographer. One of my co-workers father-in-law gave her husband-to-be (his son) $5000 for a 'good' photographer, with which he turned around and bought hockey equipment with! (And she still married him) So then they had to use disposable cameras and it's just not the same, you know? All blurry and stuff.

Pictures???? *Patiently waiting....

Congratulations Sunni! May you and your fiancee share many more treasured memories.

And if you work out how to take a picture of an angagement ring, please do tell me. I still haven't worked out how to take a picture of mine yet.

Good luck on the wedding plans and celebrations.

Fighting for ferals in NW NJ!

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! What wonderful news - and how romantic! I agree with Tamme - I think we need to see pictures of that ring. You sound so excited, and that is sooooo sweet!!!!!!!!

I never had an engagement ring - just went straight to the wedding band. But doesn't it feel weird at first? I kept looking at my wedding band after we got married just because it felt so strange, LOL!
