... I found a cat at my aunts house and my kids and I couldn't leave her... fast forward about 4 weeks...we have a HUGE pregnant cat. she has never acted funny and always was such a clean kitty... yesterday she started putting my daughters clothes and toys into her litter box...any ideas? Also I have no idea how far along she is... is there anything in particular that I can look for to know when labor is soon? The temperature thing is out of the question lol... she doesn't like to be held much less something being put in her booty... I would like to not be mauled ;)

You should check out my thread "pregnant kitty, how long to wait?"    I asked the same questions, and I was satisfied with the results.  she had six kittens and we put 4 foster kittens on her.

I don't have experience my self but many others here on TCS do.  There are lots of helpful articles about pregnant cats and kitten care and you can see them listed at the top of the page, above the list of thread names when you click on this PC&K forum.  In case you haven't read it already, here is a link to one of them which might help answer your question:

She is trying to set up a nest, but it shouldn't be the litter box. Get her a couple of different nesting areas with boxes and old towels or blankets in them, preferably in a closet or other private place, and show them to her. Hopefully she will choose one of them when her time comes.

Pregnancy is about 65 days, but can go up to 70. There are lots of great links on this site that you can read for more information.

Welcome and keep posting, and thank you for taking this cat in! :)
