Hello people please can someone help me.
We have brought home a raw fed kitten already weaned on pre made frozen raw foods - he's been off his food which I have put down to moving to a new place but I'm wanting to make it myself rather than pre made frozen delivery which he's not keen on
I need to know where I can get recipes and a raw feed calculator so I can do it right. My older cat seems quite happy with whatever so just eats what's down but this kitten needs some food he will eat before he wastes away.
Any help/ advice would be amazing.
Thank you

You need to get some of the food he was used to eating, the pre-made frozen raw food.  Feed him this until he is completely settled into your home, and then you can start gradually switching him over to what you make.  Even with commercial food, change must be done gradually.  If you can't get him to eat soon, you can feed him KMR formula in a syringe to keep him going until he will eat on his own.

Iv not change him over He's on his frozen pre made raw but not eating it hence why I'm thinking of trying a few other things to kick start his eating again to see if a variety of foods will help

Try toppers on top of the raw food to entice your kitten to eat. Suggestions: FortiFlora, crushed up freeze dried treats, crushed up freeze dried raw food, a little sprinkle of parmesean cheese, the water from a can of tuna, canned cat food, even try catnip.

It's normal for kittens and older cats to stop eating when moved to a new home. Just offer the food the kitten / cat is used to and add in a topper if needed. Let the kitten / cat acclimate to the new home at his or her own pace. Keeping the kitten / cat confined to one room usually helps until he / she is ready to start exploring the rest of the house.

Catinfo.org and Catnutrition.org both have good raw recipies using ground or finely chopped raw meats and various supplements. If you're looking more into prey model or frankenprey, members here can advise you how to do that correctly. There are a few raw food calclators out there. Here's one: http://www.knowwhatyoufeed.com/nutrient_calculator.html
