My cats  "were" eating 100% wet .  Both started having issues again .  My male having diarrhea , female vomiting several times a day ..   I do not think   that it is due to eating wet food but the

brands of wet food  ( Fancy Feast & Iams ) they were eating and those were the only two they would eat .

We are back to no wet food .

Right now they are both eating Evo Turkey & Chicken kibble and doing great , no issues at all ..

What should I look for when looking for a new brand of wet food ?

Maybe look for a food that's as simple as possible, stick with turkey and chicken as protein sources to start with as they can clearly digest them with no problems. I'm not sure what else. What a shame...you'd done so well to get them eating wet. I'm sure you'll get there with them.

I am so sorry, 2Cats! Have you tried just one wet food meal a day? Like give 3 dry and one wet?
What ingredient can be causing this? So frustrating!

Maybe get limited ingredient foods.  Those have little to no fillers and are designed for cat's with sensitive stomachs.  Nature's Variety, Canidae, Natural Balance, and Blue Buffalo all have limited ingredient recipes.  The cheaper foods are decent but tend to have a lot of ingredients in them.

Petco limited ingredient canned foods: http://www.petco.com/N_23_92_429493...ed+Food&cmrefr=3&cmrefid=4294958406&cmrefpf=1

Those are what Petco labels as limited ingredient but I don't think all of them do.  You'll have to look through the ingredient lists of all of them to see.  Nature's Variety, Merrick, and Natural Balance are definite ones though.

Thank you so much ..  Yes when I find a good canned food I am going to do just one wet meal a day for now ..  It is something common in both of those brands but I don't know what ..

There is a wet food called 'wild Calling' I feed raw but have fed this. It has very limited ingredients and no grain. I honestly thing it is the closest thing you can get to raw in a can. Out here it is $1.69 per 5.5 oz can.

They have many different proteins, Rabbit, chicken, turkey, buffalo, salmon , beef.

The meat is always the first ingrediant listed and most everything else is just the vitamins and taurine. It does have guar gum. I belive the answer for your cats is a limited ingrediant diet. Wild Calling has no veggies or fruit in it either. easily digested. Just a suggestion. I hope you find the food that is right for your cats

FortiFlora sold on Amazon is a probiotic nutritional supplement for cats with diarrhea.  I use it for the probiotic benefits. My Siberian kitten is on a raw food diet.

Thank you , although my cats  do not have diarrhea .  My male cat only had it eating two specific brands of wet food .  Now they are just eating the Evo kibble they are perfectly fine . I just have to find a better quality canned diet that agrees with them ..
