Shelter cat - Classic or Marble

So I adopted this fantastic guy about 5 months ago from the animal shelter, hes about 6-7 months now. But I was searching his coat pattern since everyone who sees him adores his spots but I'm not sure now after researching, is he a classic tabby or a marble tabby? Or something else I'm missing?
