I was given a rescued kitten back in October, he was run down with a lot going on health wise.
anyway he has now blossomed into a handsome boy, but I am concerned that he could be a main coon cat, it concerns me because I have a very small ( 2-3 kg) female black cat who isn't showing the most positive behaviour towards him, as he grows. My other female tortie is fine, she is just happy as long as she has her space, which she does.
My black female cat is slowly getting better with him but is very slow and she still randomly slaps his face,or gives a bit of verbal abuse his way. They are both neutered, female is nearly 2 and possible maincoon is about 10 months old.
any advice welcome.

I don't think he is a Maine Coon, he doesn't have the ear tufts or the pronounced muzzle. I think he's a large DLH.

I've got a couple of big, fluffy boys like that. They weigh around 6 kilos now but my house is ruled (terrorised) by my tiny 3 kilo calico girl. It's usually the girl cats who boss the boys cats around, superiority seems to be more to do with "cattitude" than size. So as long as the fights don't escalate I don't think you need to worry. She's probably just keeping him in his place so that he knows she's boss.

That's a relief :)
He does have paw tufts, and large paws in general, his coat as well is what got me worried. As he has the ruff fluff round his neck and fluffy tail and behind but slender fur on his bodies.
My tiny girl I hope just keeping him in check.
They play wrestle and have mad races, but just she gets randomly fussy with him for no reason. I just don't want her stressed out and unhappy.
hopefully, he won't grow too big.

At ten months old he's at the teenager stage, so she's just teaching him to mind his manners, the way big sisters do.

Here are a couple of my boys.

Button Moon.

 Hiro.

They're half brothers and they both turned two years old this month.

I think they look a lot like your boy. By the way, what's his name?

Auto correct does that a lot.
I try to give my cats Japanese names as my vet doesn't speak any English. He'd never cope with a Rory or a Clara!

Oh dear, Rory is popular in Scotland, so that name is easy, Clara gets confused with Carla a lot which is annoying but understandable. I had a cat called Carlos, he was siamese with a Spanish name [emoji]128515[/emoji]
