Hmm...What comes to mind is either a urinary tract infection or diabetes, but you said they seem healthy. Are you sure there are no symptoms, like frequent litter box visits, weight loss, etc.?
Then again, if it is BOTH cats, I would suspect something in the food.

It might just be the boy, it is hard to tell since he uses both boxes.

It changes, the girl makes pee balls, the boys urine spreads out and seems like I always have to scrape his off bottom of litter box!
