Not sure how to use this site just yet but I have a million questions about my cat. I found him outside of my house in the cattle field he wasn't meowing and he wasn't moving . I thought he was dead well thank god he wasn't and I crawled on the ground and kissed at him and I got his attention. His meow is weak and he seems to have some problems walking. I brought him in and bathed him he has a beebee gun wound on his shoulder :'( and I can feel his spine and ribs. I've had him for 2 days now and his legs are still really weak and so is his meow. He is also breathing kinda fast. I know I need to take him to the vet and I plan to but is there anything I can do to help is wound and maybe to get him a little stronger like a work out or maybe fix him on a certain diet. I don't want him passing away. Can someone please give me some kind of advice I'm worried about him. :(:(

I'm also fairly new to this site and look forward to other responses, but I would urge you to take this poor cat to a vet, or at least a reliable animal refuge which has a vet, as soon as possible. His injury could be serious, especially if he has a gun pellet embedded in his shoulder. He also needs hydrating and examining.

If you have access to Betadine, or a similar antiseptic product suitable for animals, it could be applied to the wound in the meantime, but veterinary attention really is urgent.

Wishing you all the best with your injured cat!

You need to take him to the Vet now. If you don't, he's probably not going to make it. He's in pain and suffering. Please take him now.

This is an emergency. He needs medical treatment. It is not something you can treat at home.

I wish you the best. Please take care of this little guy. He needs your help.

Me and my little buddy are on our way to the vet . Good news is this morning his meow was way better he actually sounded like a cat instead of a grimlin. One step at a time

He may be weak because he's malnourished.  A steady supply of good food, preferably canned, will help with the strength.  What did you find out at the vet?
