My cat gets one in morning one split At night 3 0z and a little dry somewhere in between and he is always hungry!
My little one eats not even one can and dry.
I feel like I spend a fortune on food. He only will eat wervuva chicken and natural balance.
But I go through so much

I just recently got my cats on an all wet diet .. In the morning  my male cat @ 17 pounds eats  4 1/2  ozs  , female cat @ 10 pounds eats  about 4 ozs..  ( each get a 3 oz can of Fancy Feast Classic with  1/2 can of hot water mixed in ).  It usually takes them  a couple of hours to finish it .   In the afternoon they each  get either a can of Iams Purrfect Delights , or Fancy
Feast Grilled Chicken ..  They get a few Temptation Treats for a snack .. They seem very satisfied with this so far ..

I have two cats the same size as you. The female gets just under 3 oz and male just over 3 oz in morning and same in evening. I supplement with Purebites freeze dried chicken snacks in between and bedtime. I buy large dog bag from chewy and break up bits. Cats and dog all looooove this healthy non grain treat which is filling also! This keeps my cans to 4 small or 2 large per day. [emoji]128062[/emoji][emoji]10084[/emoji]️[emoji]128062[/emoji]

Yes temptations scare me, I have heard scary things on this site! The Purebites freeze dried treats satisfy my cats craving for dry food! Because my dog eats it, I might have to start auto ship! I ordered my first bag of Stella and Chewy freeze dried raw to see how that goes!

Well  the Temptation Treats do not bother my cats and they love them . I use them to get them to finish up their wet food sometimes ..

My cat is 10.5 lbs.  He gets 5.5-6 oz per day, split into 3 meals.

Weruva has lower calories so that might factor into why it feels like your kitty is eating so much. You might want try some high calorie wet foods. All cats are different and you might be one of the lucky few who has a cat that eats A LOT.
 I know I am.

Is your other cat "bigger"? My cat is not overweight and is actually in good body shape. He's just bigger in every way compared to other cats. And again, each cat has different metabolism rates and age plays a factor.

Anyway, to answer your question, I feed my 14.5 lb cat probably around 12 oz a day. I'll open a 6 oz can of Cats In The Kitchen and portion it out to 2-3 meals. I'll probably open a can of Fancy Feast at noon and another one just before bed. Sometimes I feed Primal Freeze Dried foods and I give two nuggets a meal.

I feed my cat small portions frequently. He doesn't finish what I give him right away. He'll come back and eat it after a few hours. I feel that kind of helps him feel less hungry and in turn, I don't have to feed him too much. Sometimes I will have some leftovers from the day before so he doesn't actually eat a full 12 oz a day. Of course, feeding frequently may be difficult to do if your schedule doesn't allow it.

I worried a lot before about how much to feed my cat and it felt like I was throwing money into my cat's stomach. It's why I have to settle for Fancy Feast since I can't afford to give him Weruva or Primal all the time. (Plus he likes FF the best anyway haha!)

I should have mentioned he has Ibd. He can only certain foods. With that being said, I have tried everything switched it up a couple of times and the wervuva is the only thing he will eat now besides the natural balance. He did eat the ff classic which is gran free but he stopped. He wouldn't eat. I will try again he does love those dried treats I just got them thanks

Oh yes that complicates things. If he likes and is able to Weruva, then it's best if he keeps eating it. If he likes the freeze dried treats, then you could try some freeze dried foods like Primal or Stella and Chewy's (not cheap though, unfortunately).

Best of luck!
