Hey everyone I was wondering if anyone knew of any non-toxic aquatic plants. I'm having a lot of difficulty finding anything on the ASPCA list that is aquatic and won't harm my boy. I will be covering the tank that the aquatics are going into but I'm pretty paranoid.
If anyone specifically knows if mare's tail (Hippuris vulgaris) is toxic that would be a huge help as well. I keep finding results saying horsetail (Equisetum arvense) is very toxic but it is a completely different plant (to my knowledge) and they just share common names. I would really love to keep the mare's tail I just bought but it is an emergent plant, so if it is toxic it has got to go.
