I had posted in the QoTD for today about giving treats to our furkids. I posted a picture showing Boo moving the wheel of his treat machine. Well, that wheel broke. We tried to fix it, but it's really hard for him to turn now and he gets exasperated easily. Can't say that I blame him. I have been all over the place looking for another machine. It's called the Kitty Kitchen Treat Machine. I have googled it, I have been on Amazon, I have been on eBay. I can't find one that's for sale. I can find pictures and images of the thing. But when I go to that website, they're sold out or discontinued or no longer selling them.

I bought this one back in the very late 1990s, for less than $10. I know they are considerably more now. It doesn't matter. I'd really like to get him another one, if I can.

Here's what it looks like (and it has been out of stock at this site for quite a while now; I keep checking back to see):  http://yhst-16802311020828.stores.yahoo.net/1034.html

If you're out and about and see one or if you're surfing the web and see one that's for sale, could you please let me know? I thank you and BooBoo thanks you, too.

Sorry Pam, I called the Petsmart and they do not have it.  Do you have any pet stores in your area where you can call, maybe they would have it.

Looks like Columbine found your feeder ,but $60! I saw a Cat it on Chewy.com $14.99. Sort of a spiral thing that the cat hits through the spiral openings Free shipping if you hit $49 and most states no tax!  I have ordered a lot of stuff from Chewy, and they have faster delivery than Amazon. Sorry I don't know how to paste and copy the item.

I go to a lot of yard sales and flea markets. I'll keep my eyes open for one that's in excellent condition for Boo.

Just got an email from them.

"Thank you for your order.

This item has been discontinued and is no longer available.

We're terribly sorry for this inconvenience and will go ahead and cancel your order."

Poor BooBoo. Well, back to the drawing board.

Dam :( I hate it when companies do that.
I actually laughed a little, because that website looks VERY old. Like, geocities and cjb.net old. Copyright 2002. I'm more amazed that someone responded to that email. :lol3:

I know the site looked old, but it was worth a try.

Pam, do you think Boo could learn to use the dog version? Irritatingly, they seem to still be make that one.

(...why are cats second class citizens. ..grr...)

Knowing, Boo, he would figure it out. But we were hoping that we could find the cat one because he's so used to using that one and being able to turn the wheel. We were thinking it might be good exercise for his paws, too.

Cory, I was surprised, too. Yes, the web site looks old, but hey, I figured it was worth a shot. I'm desperate.

The Only Gumball Machine for Pets. Yuppy Puppy and Kitty Kitchen dispenses your pet's favorite treat or dry food.
That's the place I ordered one from, only to receive an email that it's been discontinued and they apologize for any inconvenience. I wish they'd put on the page that it's been discontinued. Thank you anyway.

No, Carol, I got an email from them that they no longer carry it. I'm back to square one.

Well, I guess they are not available anywhere.  Is there a name of the maker of this product on the machine.  If there was a number of the manufacturer, that might help.

I'm really sorry for Boo and again, there is no way it can be fixed??
