We do have some others waiting for kittens too. Feel free to post a picture of your little mama. I hope everything goes well with the birth.

The time will go by fast. The end of pregnancy is the hardest for me because I don't want to miss it and the excitement kicks in

You have got our links?

Here they are, anyways.

Good luck!

Many of these links have been readied by our forumist  Red Top Rescue:

We have a good collection of articles in the Cat Health section which you can access by scrolling up to the brown bar, clicking on Articles, and then choosing the Cat Health section and scrolling through the choices.  To make this super easy for you, I am copying the links regarding birth, delivery and newborns for you here.  After reading this information, let us know if you have any more questions.  And good luck with your approaching new arrivals.

Now to find them a vet for vaccines and spay/neuter. I know it'll be a about 12 weeks til then but I want to be prepared.

It is always good to get to know a vet before you actually need one, just in case of emergencies. So you are wise to start looking and talking to possible vets now. Try to find one who is experienced with kittens - not all are.

Here's the new mommy Charlotte with her 4 new babies born this morning.
Splendid!  Congrats!

The white ones are almost surely points to be.  The dark are tabbies?

The father was thus a tabby and also carrier of the point gene.  That gene pair was one gene tabby -which is dominant, and the other gene point, which is recessive.

And his children got one each, but of two different sorts, precisely as the statistics hints should be.

The mom is of course, a double point carrier.

That's what I told my husband. Those white boys will look like mommy. Thank you for that info. Do you know what mix the mommy might be? She sheds a lot and has very soft hair and of course has those gorgeous colors and blue eyes. The grey babies are tabbies. They have stripes showing already [emoji]128522[/emoji]

I'm sure it'll be hard to say what mix a cat is. Sorry if my question is silly. How did you learn about the genes? That is awesome.
