She doesn't looks to fast along in her pregnancy and I have experience of handling pregnant cats as just in December I had adopted a stray preggo kitty. but i just bathed this foster cat two days ago and she is covered in dirt again.her white fur looks grey now and as she isn't cleaning herself much... also, the weather here is very hot so i am hoping it won't affect her body temperature. And I use cat shampoo so I don't think it would harm her... i want to bathe her because she has litter stuck on her fur and I don't want her to ingest some of it when she finally decides to clean herself...

So she is handleable?

If she doesnt mind the baths, you can bathe her.  Just be sure she isnt get chilled nor get draught on her. - But in India ist sooner to hot than to chilly, no?

But if it is stressful, its better to abstain, and perhaps just brush off the worst.

After all, she will prob soil herself again quite soon.  With the litter as you menition.  She perhaps loves to be under beds and the like, where it is often dusty...

If she is longhaired, and has easy to get filthy or soiled you can perhaps cut off some of the longest fur. Not easy, but you can try.

But the best is probably, you and she manage a routine of brushing / combing regularly, and possibly,  stroke off with a semi-damp little towel...  That should be enough for most occasions.

Using afterwards a towel of mocca shin to get the last, perfect shine.

@stefanz thanks you so much for your advice. Yes, she is handelable and it is very hot here... the reason I wanted to bathe her was because she sat on wet mud and in the garden last night and when I saw her in the morning, the mud was already dry and is now hard and brittle. i would usually just wipe her or let her be, but the mud is my main problem... I'll keep her indoors now at night and not let her in my garden (I let her stay in there as ut was too hot Inside). And yes, she doesn't minds baths... i just want to know if bathing her so soon will harm the kittens or not?

Nay, I dont think it should harm them.  If she doenst mind, you are careful and cautious, and its a mild cat shampoo...  Nay.

Its the stressing witch is dangerous, but if she doesnt get stressed, it is no big problem bathing them.

I agree 100% with @StefanZ  but wanted to add just so you know that once the kittens come, bathing them CAN be dangerous, and it is usually better not to do so unless a situation arises where for some reason it would be absolutely necessary.  You may know this but until around 3 weeks they are absolutely unable to regulate their body temperature so bathing them can become very dangerous.

Thank you for helping this cat!
