Hello hello! :D Greetings to all the gorgeous members of TCS!

What do your cats do when they are hungry?

For those breakies and dindins!

Camelot: He usually belts it out with loud meows. Sort of like a "OMG I AM DYYYIINNNGGG! HONESTLY I AM DYYYYYING! SO HUNGRY!" And proceeds to follow me around endlessly until noms appear.

Morgana: Will be the one to smack my face with her paw while I am snoozing in bed in the morning. Afterward when she knows her bowl is coming she does her "Rooroooroooo!" sound.

Burt follows me VERY CLOSELY with head and tail up, trying to make eye contact and meowing softly. This happens every evening when I am cooking supper, he's got the time down. Casper on the other hand is very vocal (Siamese in him!
) AND can be very annoying until he gets what he wants.... "I want it NOW!!!, you KNOW I can't wait!!!!"     He's not above biting any exposed body part to get your attention and knocks cell phones and anything else on a table to the floor. He works himself into such a state he rushes to the litter box and digs furiously, scattering litter everywhere!

Cocoa: Morning routine: Jump into our bed.  Soft meows.  Snuggle up between my BF and I.  Hangs out for about 5 minutes. Walks to the back of my head on the pillow.  Stands there.  Jumps off bed.  Might jump on the dresser near my side of the bed.  Rinse and repeat a few times until one of us gets up.  Meows when food placed in front of her.  I like to think she's saying thank you lol.

Casper: Morning routine: Lay on rug on BF's side of bed and let Cocoa do the dirty work
.  No vocalization, or rarely.  He's patient.

Cocoa: Dinner routine: Lots of eye contact. Loudly announce her hunger.  Be uber cute and roll on floor.  Playfight with Casper to get our attention.

Casper: Dinner routine:  Sit boring eyes in our face.  Shift back and forth.  Yawn. A lot. Might even jump up onto couch and do same even closer.  Sometimes will lay on his back with feet in the air looking adorable.  Or playfight with Cocoa for attention.

Lilith is my vocal cat but not really about food. She jumps up on the kitchen table and stares at me like, "feed me. NOW."

Sophie is normally not vocal at all except for when she's hungry. Then she scolds me, it's a noise I can only describe as "ACK". She will do this repeatedly. She's also the only one who will wake me for breakfast usually by sitting on my chest and slapping me in the face with her paw- while saying "ACK"

Henry really is the strong, silent type. I feed them all at the same time but he rarely makes any noise. I think I've heard him meow once or twice. He's got one hell of a hiss though. He sounds much bigger than he is when that comes out. Fortunately, it doesn't happen often. The last time I heard it, it was aimed at the dog. She was very happy to see him after having been separated him for the incredibly long period of time known as "dinner".  (Henry won't eat if the door to his room is open). She bounded in there and licked his whole face then sniffed him up and down and repeated this several times. After the 4th or 5th time, he'd had enough and she got hissed at. She outweighs him by about 30 pounds and she took off running. She was back in about a minute and laid down next to his tote. She got the hint to calm down a bit.

When I am eating, Lilith will park herself next to me and if I take too long in sharing, she will slap my knee with her paw to remind me that she wants some, too. Sophie will just stare at me with a very soulful, "I know I just ate but if you'd like to share some of that steak, I'd like to have some" look.

Mo runs around the apartment screaming and howling, and frequently stops in the kitchen and just sits on the floor expectantly. If no one starts preparing his food, he goes and makes the rounds again.

Kismet follows me into the kitchen and wraps her tail around my leg, leans her thigh on my leg, and looks up at me expectantly. If she's waiting for her kibble ball at the end of the day, she's a totally different story: roaming around in front of the bird room door yowling MOW-ROW, ROW-RAAAIIIOOUU, and pawing at my door.

Autumn will come find me no matter where I am in the house.  Then she will give that stare that she wants something.  Autumn has a lot of patience and if I'm here on the computer and I don't see her enter the room, she will sit and wait for long periods of time, 15 minutes or more and then she will meow and I am surprised to see her there.

After she sees she has my attention she walks toward the kitchen very quickly turning to make sure I'm following her and she goes directly to her food bowl.  After giving her her food, she is finally happy and goes off to take one of her many naps of the day...you gotta love em'.

Leroy whines until he gets his bowl. Emma is happy to wait quietly until she is fed.

Noodles gets vocal and affectionate.  And tries to trip me if I head anywhere near where her food is kept or her meals are served.
She will also follow me around.

Mooch sits patiently by her bowl and keeps an eye on me.

Mogli either runs back and forth between my location and the kitchen or he bangs the door to the cabinet where his food dishes are kept.

Asha sits very straight and tall, fixes me with a look, meows, then lick her lips pointedly. Repeat until I respond.

Shadow is quiet about it...he just goes and sits on his dining table until someone appears. Maybe he's working on telepathy :lol3:

Miss Purdy is sooooo annoying, at 6 am, even on my day off, she repeatedly jumps from the floor to bed to dresser to windowsill. All I hear is clump, clump, then another clump, clump, then another clump, clump. If I yell stop it, she gets in bed and starts chewing my hair until I give up! Frodo sits outside the door and screams raaaaa, raaaa, naw naw raaaa, raaaa. Who can sleep with clump, clump, raaaa, raaaa, naw, naw. Then for the finale the dog starts nyepp, nyepp. So it is clump, clump, raaaaa, raaaaa, naw, naw, nnyepp, nyepp! OMG it really is wonderful to be so loved[emoji]128062[/emoji][emoji]10084[/emoji]️[emoji]128576[/emoji][emoji]128062[/emoji][emoji]10084[/emoji]️[emoji]128576[/emoji][emoji]128164[/emoji][emoji]128164[/emoji][emoji]128164[/emoji][emoji]128164[/emoji] Even with all that noise there is one nyepp, nyepp I miss terribly! My dear Scooter who went over the rainbow bridge on March 22, still miss the patter of his tiny feet. RIP Scoots

Alice by her bowl and meows loudly, Patches just goes to his bowl and then looks at me and then the bowl.

I feed them in separate rooms because Alice will nudge Patches away and eat out of his bowl.  Patches is so submissive he will walk away and go back when she is finished.  Recently I took them both to the vet, Patches for an ultrasound and Alice for a dental.  I picked them up late in the afternoon and they hadn't eaten in about 18 hours.  As soon as I got home I fed them.  Alice started this thing of running from one bowl to the other, I guess she wanted to make sure she got enough food,  I finally stood between her and Patches so he could eat and she tried to get around me for awhile before she finally gave up and went back to her bowl.  She is definitely Queen Bee and a chowhound.

Hiro usually helps himself if I'm not up on time.

He can rip open the foil packets and cardboard boxes the dry food comes in and can claw open the sachets of wet food. I started putting it all in plastic boxes, but he's learnt how to open those too.

I have to get up at the first sound of destruction, otherwise I come down to a whole weeks worth of food strewn across the kitchen floor and the whole family grazing contentedly.

I'm just thankful he hasn't learnt how to open the fridge yet.
