My Ziggy was a feral cat until we took him in this last November. He has had all his shots, been neutered, and is overall very healthy. He does, however have these weird *things* on his nose, for lack of a better word. The vet had originally said that they may just be scars from past flea bites, however Ziggy hasn't had fleas for months now and his nose is just looking worse. He does seem perfectly happy and healthy, so I'm not sure if this is just cosmetic or what. If anyone has any information on what these are, the information would be greatly appreciated!

Just bumping this up in case someone might have missed it an has had a similar experience.

Have you called your Vet and mentioned that you think it's worse than before?

I do not know what would cause this to happen.  Looking at your pictures, I see what looks like, some tiny brown spots on her nose where she has lost her fur, and some on right below her right eye.  Do you have any idea what this is from and could these possibly be part of the problem??  I agree with mrsgreenjeans, I think I call or visit to the vet would be a very good idea.

Ivermillion24, my cat started having the same problem (9 month old rescue cat) and then the other 9 mo old rescue cat got it.  Before you know it, it spread to their ears.  I took these cats to the vets 4 times and the vet didn't have a clue, except probably ringworm, even though both cats tests negative .  I heard there were lots of false negatives with ringworm. I out ringworm cream on their bald spots for a few months -and it seemed to work on those spots but it would come out somewhere else.

Anyway, after several hundreds of dollars going to this vet, I couldn't stand it because my beautiful young boy's ears were bald.  I took him (not her yet, since they seem to have the same thing) to a veterinary dermatologist.  He said it was very unlikely that it was ringworm, because the ears are both very neatly bald right now, and he said a parasite is never so symmetrical. He is quite sure it is an allergy (ugh $$$$) and will start tests next week.

I changed their food to Royal Canin Rx Hypoallergenic dry food but it made no difference after 2 months, so the vet dermatologist said I could discontinue it.

I hope you don't experience the same, but my cats started out like yours.

My roommate's cat has a very similar-looking condition, so I'm bumping for more input.

I know it's a really old post now but my cat had this problem and he is now in heaven. He died from liver failure but week before his passing, he lost some of his hair around his nose. Just posting this in case someone has similar problem in the future. He would've lived if we had noticed it beforehand.
