Hello

Hello everyone! I am Zephyr Care aka Robert. I am new to this site and trying to learn my way around. I recently adopted two young cats from our local shelter after losing, Baby, my loving companion for seventeen years. Previous to this I had to put down my beloved Zephyr.

Zephyr was a very special kitty. He had a unique soul and he thought me lessons about love and kindness. If all mankind had his heart it would be a wonderful world indeed. I can't explain it but others who knew and spent time with him all agree- he was special.

So after having those cats for many years and then not having any, you can just imagine how lonely things were around my home.

Now the two that I adopted keep me busy all of the time. Mimi Rose is five months old and Cole is seven months. What energy! I sometimes think I'm too old for kitten hood but I love them both.

Welcome to TCS!  I know what it is like to have one of those special cats .  Of course, they are all special, but every once and awhile you run into one that definitely relates to you as an equal soul.  It allows for a very real and deep connection that transcends species.  My Wesley (also a black cat) was like that, and I am still grieving for him years later but treasure the time I had with him.

Your kittens are beautiful and i bet they bring you a lot of joy.  This is a great site - people are very generous with their knowledge and expertise and your cats will definitely benefit!
