I'm single and had 3 very healthy cats.  I decided to adopt a baby Himalayan to make 4 cats in my household.  He has the cutest personality...after I got rid of all the fleas.  I took him to the vet right after I got him to ensure that all was well, mainly to check for fleas before bringing him home.  He did have fleas and I gave him the medicine to make them all jump off immediately, as well as frontline.  Then I brought him home.  The vet didn't check for Ringworm.  He slept right up on my chest those first few nights.  A few days later, I noticed I had, what I thought were, flea bites...which turned out to be ringworm.  I am so upset and depressed now.  My other cats now have ringworm too.  I took them all to the vet and they were dipped once already...at a cost of $150 for all 4.  They also put the baby on oral medicine as well...since he lit up apple green when they put him under the black lamp diagnosis tool.  The other cats are showing signs of ringworm on their nose and ears. After the diagnosis and initial dipping of all 4 cats,  I've had my house cleaned once already mopping the floors and vacuuming the carpets and spraying lisol everywhere.  I haven't isolated them in one area, because they all cry and try to open my bedroom door to get in all night.  I went to the doctor and got on Lamisil and my spots are clearing up...I believe.  I hope that the ringworm wont come back because I still have a week to go on the medicine.  Anyway, I'm able to bath the baby myself in the Lyme Dip, but won't even try with the adults. it was hard enough for me just with the baby.  The other cats would go crazy on me...so I will take them into the vet to have them dipped again.  Apparently they will need a total of 6 weeks of dipping according to my vet.  I just cant quit crying.  My job requires that I travel 3 days per week which is making things even more difficult.  My 60 year old neighbor, who is wonderful, always helps me feed them when I'm away.  She also caught the ringworm from my cat.  I hope her animals don't get it.   For some reason, the Vet didn't recommend putting the adult cats on the oral medicines because it is apparently really hard on their internal organs.  I'm at a loss and don't know what to do.  I can't even have my sister come to visit because she has a dog and I can't chance her dog catching this.  What's worse, I can't tell her about the ringworm issue, or she'll never come to visit.  She will be afraid for years.  I feel like "Ebola" has come to my house and not sure when and if I'll ever get rid of it.  Any advice would be very appreciated.  I just don't know what to do.

You poor thing! I will be right back to help you, it's not so bad, as it seems at least!
