Breed of this stray fella?

We have taken in a stray a little over a week ago and no body has claimed him. Put up flyers, posted on sites and even took him to pets at home to see if he's chipped. He was in such a state when we found him. He's got a vet appointment on Wednesday to have a check over and I'll ask then but I'm really curious to what breed he is. I know we should have taken him to the vet straight away but he's only now getting used to human touch, I didn't want to put more strain on him then he already has.

He has the looks of a ragdoll.  Pretty young I guess.

Probably pet quality, but may even be a ragdoll for real, not just a look alike.
