Our D.T. for Wednesday

I can't believe it's Wednesday already! I really needed to go to the gym this morning, especially since I haven't been there in a few weeks, and I gained 5 pounds at my parents this weekend. But there's no food in the house, and the house is a pit. So I get to spend today doing grocery shopping with two preschoolers and then come home and scrub, scrub, scrub. The lawn also needs to be mowed, but that will have to wait until tomorrow. I don't know how working parents do it. I stay home and still can't find the time to get everything done. (Of course I can find the time to be here with you guys, but we don't need to talk about that! )

There's a new kid on the ponderosa today. I spotted him/her when I went out to feed. He (I just assume it is male) is a small kitten probably less than a year old. Looks a lot like our Kahuna, and won't let me to near him yet. Has that distinctive Siamese yowl too. Was very adament in complaining that there was no food at the feral station. (I ran out- I am so sorry!) I ran to Costco to get more food, love this Executive Membership privileges where you can go in the store before it officially opens. The cashier laughed when I came back with a cart piled high with Kirkland's dry food and asked me how many cats I did have? I just smiled and said "To many to count!" LOL

Came home and found my horse had run into the fence and cut his leg, so I had him soak in a bucket of cold water and scrubbed his wound out good. It isn't a deep wound so the vet call can be avoided. I scrubbed my house from top to bottom yesterday, so today I will be the shop and repairing knives.

Yes it is Wednesday. Molly leapt at Lily Monday night while I was sleeping and woke up to her claws in my face. I have a 3 inch scratch down the front of my face. It looks awful. I have had meetings all week long and people just look at me and kind of smirk.

The weather is cool and breezy. First day of August and it will only be in the 70's. I need warm weather.

3 weeks until I am back in Hawaii, I cannot wait!

Dawn: I think that being here with us is more important than house work anyway :LOL:

Hissy: I sure do hope your horse is feeling better. Let us know about the new addition to your family. If he sticks around. I can't see why he wouldn't!

this day has been pretty yucky for me, but it has ended on a high note...


I got my Madonna tickets just now!!!! Yippee!!! I am walking on air. I can NOT wait to see her. She is my idol. I don't think I've ever been so excited to see someone!

other than that, I've had a headache all day that I haven't been able to kick, and it's been non-stop meetings here at work.

tonight I'm going go home, watch BB2 that was taped for me and relax.

can't wait.
