Soooo....

Tiki's new thing is to make every attempt to eat out of the sink or lick the bottom of the sink. We keep the sink empty and clean as a result, but she's still a scavenger (she's getting plenty of food).

What's the best method to correct the behavior? Is there something that we can put that's safe for cats but tastes bad?

Knowing her, she'd like it...

I would squirt it down with concentrated lemon juice- or bitter apple.

Hissy, would using a lemon scented soap (hand or dish) help? (since you're going to be using soap at the sink anyhow) Is it the smell of lemon, the taste, or both, that cats don't like? And does that go for all citrus? (I have mango-"mandrin" scented hand lotion that I stopped wearing around my cats, after reading various posts suggesting lemon as a cat deterent.)
