mother of 2 kittens

I have a question about my 1 year old cat short hair domestic she had kittens 12 days ago one was born natural and the other one was born by c section she has shaved belly and still has stitches I noticed that she has red crusty lips both top and bottom and one kitten has crusty eye they just opened their eyes she has had a change in food giving her kitten dry food for more protein what should I do for her I have put warm compresses on kittens eye and is able to open just concern for my momma cat

Yeah but she probably wasn't having this problem while she was at the vet

I guess not just noticed it tonight and the babies eyes are opening up only because one eye was crusty did I notice her lip

I guess not just noticed it tonight and the babies eyes are opening up only because one eye was crusty did I notice her lip
thank you for your help I will have to call vet tomorrow

Also tell the vet the baby has crusty eyes. Your mama needs medicine. That looks like thrush infection. Maybe you can email that same picture to the vet and avoid having to transport her in again so soon. But vet will tell you.

ya does look like thrush im also thinking that it may be her food my fiance got wrong food about 5 days ago so I will have to get her back on her regular food and I will call vet thanks

I think that she is having pain I just went to check on her and she was laying with her tongue hanging out so I will let everyone know what they say thank you again
