I'm Anna a newbie here and a newbie cat owner.
My kitty is a rescue and she was rescued with her brothers the shelter said she was a feral kitten and was abandoned. She has a part of one of her ears missing because the people who gave her and her brothers to the shelter tagged it so they knew which was the female.
Shes around 11 months old and is so much fun.
She's a really timid cat and a lot of things still scare her, when we first got her she'd hide behind the couch and only came out to me and not my mum but now all she does is meow to ask to play or jump up for cuddles.
This was before we got her, her foster mum sent us this along with this one We didn't name her the shelter did and for some reason they thought Snowy fitted her haha
This is her now She sleeps in the weirdest positions

Welcome.  Your cat is a delicate beauty!  I hope she doesn't miss that piece of ear too much.

Oh my goodness too cute!! My oldest cat Freya sleeps in those kinds of positions all the time. When cats do this, it means they deeply trust you! :) Not many cats will sleep with their stomachs exposed because that's an area they protect the most. But when they do show you their belly (and aren't trying to bait you into the "bear trap"), that means they're comfortable!

So basically your kitty is saying "I can sleep like this because I know you won't do anything!"

Your cat is so gorgeous and very lucky to have you and your mom as cat mommies :) welcome to the forum! Everyone is incredibly friendly and nice here, so never be afraid to ask any questions!

G gimli Oh really ? I didn't know that I knew cats usually protect their stomachs but I just thought because she was asleep she didn't care. I'm so glad that it's because she's comfortable and trusts me!
She's a beauty and thank you I'm glad to be here!
