Need some Board Magic, Please

If it weren't for bad luck, I swear I'd have no luck at all. I am a pretty private person, and I try not to vent about the trials and tribulations of my life, but today I am just about overwhelmed. I think it was heading out the door for work this AM and seeing a flat tire on my car that pushed me over the edge. I want to just sit down and have a good cry, but I have too much work to do!

Without going into a lot of gory details, my life's been pretty lousy lately. My finances, health (physical and mental), job and family/social life have all been going down the toilet for a few months. The car and the house have both been demanding repairs recently. I just can't seem to get it together, and I'm feeling overwhelmed and fighting off despair. If you guys could spare a little Board Magic to help things get better here, I would be very, very grateful. (Since we all know Board Magic really works!)

If I didn't have the love of all these wonderful cats, I think I'd be ready to give up hope. But they bring me joy and give me strength to get through each day, since I know they are depending on me. And coming here to TCS helps, too, since you're such a great group of folks.

I think this has been a lousy year for many people, including myself! Hope it gives you some comfort to know that I'm in the same boat! I don't talk about my personal affairs on the board either, so how about we start a Private Pity Club where you don't know who the members are?

Sending vibes out, take it one day at a time, and snuggle those furkids. It's so true that they are the real one's who pull you through the tough times when no one else seems to know how.

Let's just say that once New Year's Eve comes, I will be celebrating for this year to be over and celebrating for a new more positive year to begin!

I'm sorry your going through such a rough patch. Will sends some prayers your way. I find when I'm going through a tough time it helps to take one day at a time, one thing at a time or it just overwhelms you to the point of dispair. Try to dwell on things that make you happy.

Sue I am so sorry that the last few month are not that good for you . I know how it feels like , bin there done that .It can be very overwhelming at times I know .And now christmas just around the corner don't make things easy . Do you take vitamine B6 ? It helps with depression , a nurse told me that once . Or maybe if you can take a multy vitamine B complex would be good , will also help you to build up your energy level . If you can get it from a health food store , they are much better . Maybe you need to sit back and think about what you could improve in your life . Think about all the positive things you have and like in your life and focus more on those things . That really can help lift you up . And the old song : Take one day at a time . I know that this is the hardest thing to do , but also the best way not to get over whelmed . Hang in there girl ((((((HUGS)))))) .

Sorry you're feeling down, when everything gets on top of you I know it doesn't take much to set you off blubbing, (been there) I've got my fingers crossed that things turn around for you, don't give up things seem to change for the better at the oddest times when you really aren't expecting it.

Yikes...need more Board Magic, please! I need to find a new job, preferably before the end of the year. My present job has decided to take me off salary and put me on hourly, and there is not enough work to generate the same amount of pay that way as I currently make hourly. So I need a new job, fast!

I sent out a bunch of resumes this AM, and have already heard back from one of them, and it sounds positive.
