Long story short, willow ran out the door of her spay and lo and behold I'm anxiously awaiting babies. She has been laying on her back for belly rubs for days, and she lost her mucous plug at 2 this afternoon. I can hardly contain my excitement. She refuses her nice cozy secluded area, and insists on being in the loving room with us and the dogs. My profession is doula, of course I work with the human kind. I just can't wait. Squeeee!!!

Now I can just barely see the bag of water. It's just a small opening.

She had the fourth baby around 4:30. Everything went smooth. I believe there is still one left to be born, but she has stalled. She is nursing like a champ.

And she didn't choose her comfy nesting boxes I put out, she chose my bed. Thankfully I had enough time to cover my bed spread. ;)

Awww! So sweet! Glad all is still well, but sounds like you've been up all night. What makes you think there may be one more? Is she still on your bed? The kittens look very healthy in the pictures! Thank you!

I can feel it moving. Vet said it can take up to 3 days. Not to worry since she is nursing and calm. I moved them to the nesting box once she was settled after the fourth was born and cleaned up.

Awesome! She'll have the last one eventually. Glad they are nursing well & in the nesting area you set up. You probably already know that the kittens should not be handled much at all the first two weeks by the kids. Enjoy your well-deserved nap! :)

Awww. So sorry. Sometimes there is nothing you can do. But 4 other healthy ones is great! I know you are relieved! Post pictures when you can. Congratulations!
