Howdy! Hope everyone is having a smooth and pleasant Tuesday!


What is your ideal temperature for sleeping?


I love it cool. Not hot/warm, or cold. A subtle crisp and fresh cool. Especially like a pleasant spring or summer breeze coming through the window. Aaahhh!

I like it cool also.  My best sleep happens in the summer when the a/c is running but I do enjoy this time of year when windows can be left open also.

Being too warm is the worst.  Wakes me up, keeps me awake, gives me headaches.  I'd much rather be bundled up under a pile of blankets than have to throw all of them off.  And then what? Still too hot!

65 or lower

We never heat our bedroom, no matter how cold it is outside. DH insists on having the balcony door open even when it snows. :lol3:

Same here!

it looks like i'm the opposite of every else so far. i like to sleep warm, very warm -- but not hot or humid. my ideal temperature range is 78 to 82 degrees F, winter or summer.

I'd never be able to sleep if it was that warm.

We keep our house at about 70 degrees. The vent is blocked off in our room so it doesn't get too hot. I can't turn the heat down at night unfortunately because the kids rooms get cold easily. I don't think the house is insulated very well on the side their rooms are on.

I need to sleep in a cool room.  If I sleep in a room that is too warm I wake up feeling as though I haven't slept and I usually have a headache.

Cool, but only for my head. Nice crisp fresh air so I can breathe, but I'll have lots of blankets 

I really don't depend on temperature for sleeping. I sleep with a few blankets so whatever makes me comfy to go to sleep. It takes me awhile to go to sleep most of the time.

I don't know really.  Growing up my parents never used the AC; even when it was super hot out.  I got used to sleeping with a ceiling fan and just a sheet at the most covering me.  I still like the ceiling fan on in the warmer months.  We keep the AC set at around 77.  We used to keep it at 78; but I'm always worried my kids won't sleep as well if they are hot.

I have a hard time staying at the right temperature; I tend to be in and out of the blankets no matter the season.  I love the times I wake up snuggled under the blankets and I'm just comfortable.  Not hot, not cold and no sore back (I have a love/hate relationship with our expensive mattress!).  

I like it cool. Love to open the windows in the spring and feel the breeze. Even in winter I open the window in my bedroom when turning in. I may sleep with an extra blanket but I have to feel the cool air.

I like it just a wee tad warm. I'm a snuggler, so I like to snuggle down into a pile of warm blankets with Rick and the cats. 

While we do like to sleep with the windows open, it's still a bit cool around here yet.
