Mama cat off food

My cat had 3 kittens 4 days ago, she was eating a lot of food but now just today she hasn't eaten. She used to leave the room and come and eat and go back to her babies but now she doesn't wanna leave them so I gave her some food close by and she doesn't want it. I've tried wet food dry food kitten food but nothing. Help

Ouch, that may be alarming.  I suggest strongly you visit your vet!   At least phone, ASAP!

How is her temperature?  The vet will surely ask for it when you phone.  You can measure in the armhole of the foreleg, but notice it will be 3F  or 1 Celsius lower than in the behind.

Does she drink anything?   If not, you must prepare to forcefeed.

But as said, its surely an vet errand, something wrong is going on.   Have less appetite one day they may have, but not completely stop up eating, however enticing food they get...

You must also prepare to step in and help the kittens.  Get to know where to get some good kmr or goat milk (raw goat milk is best, butt full fat bottled is OK), a needle less syringe, etc...

Report back, we will advice you how to give the food etc.

ps.  May it be something is stressing her?   Something new happened??

If she hasn't eaten for just today, she may just need to make a bowel movement. But like StefanZ said, maybe she has fever. Best to call the vet.

Hello! Seems like I was the one stressing lol. She was fine the next day, started eating again. Thank you for your replies :-)
