While doing research on alternative remedies for FHV, I recently came across 2 products, Imuno-2865 and ShaNa Vet.  I cannot find any reviews for either of these products.  From what I have read, Imuno-2865 appears (or claims??) to be an Immune Support Supplement much like Maitake-DMG, which Maintains optimal NK cell function and coordination response of macrophages, B-Cells and T-Cells.  ShaNa Vet is supposed to shorten recovery time from viruses and/or prevent them.  I would like to know if anyone is at all familiar with either one of these supplements; they are both manufactured by "Animal Necessity".

Thank you very much

Sorry, I've never heard of them.  We manage our girl's herpes with diet changes (grain-free food only), twice daily doses of L-Lysine, and daily supplement with Missing Link in her wet food.  She also gets a daily dose of an antihistamine and we run Feliway diffusers 24/7.  She was diagnosed 8 years ago and has only ever had one flare up in all that time and that was when we introduced our most recent addition back in November.

Thank you very much.  I did happen to find this thread about a week ago. I ordered Lactoferrin, which I received about 3 days ago. I also switched Dandy to "Now" Brand powdered, L-lysine (the same time I started her on Lactoferrin).  So far, so good; she actually seems more active than usual

I am keeping my fingers crossed.

Thank you again.
