Is the black kitten nursing mama? You need to make sure this kitten is nursing and gaining weight. Kittens cry when they are hungry. Please determine if this kitten is getting sufficient food. If not you will need to hand feed. If they do not take the bottle you will need a syringe or dropper. Two drops in the side of the mouth at a time. On their tummy, head slightly up. Let them swallow and give more. About 2 to 3 ml per feeding per kitten. They need to be pottied after eating, which is where you take a cotton ball and gently rub or tap their bottom until they go pee or poop. This must be done unless mama will do it. Please use KMR to feed. Let us know how it goes, but the black kitten is probably hungry and will not survive if you do not feed it.

Well today he or she seems to not have cried as much. I got Kmr & a bottle but right now when I felt her/his stomach he seems full, I thought could it be needing to go to the bathroom or because she seems to only have 3 nipples that have milk. I'm not reallly sure cause whenI looked it didn't feel like the fourth one had any in it.  They all seem to have full bellies though. One of the grey striped kittens have their eyes open. The only one so far!!! The striped kittens were born already a week ago.

This is good news. Glad they are feeding well on mama and not crying. Let's hope all continues to go well.

Thank you Sarthur2, I appreciate the advice. Looks like I will be cleaning up a lil bit in my closet. Put the blanket that I was hoping she would've had them on. Hopefully make a path from where they are to the door. The boxes in back of the filing cabinet will lead to the door but I will clean out the clothes that are their blanket now. What I have next to the wall is gift bags that I wanted to use again, they were against the front of the filing cabinet & the wall. 

I'm wondering if it could be the black cat hasn't pooped. He is the fattest & he still meows a lil.Geez I wanna take the kittens out of the closet so I can watch them. Ugh!!!! Then someone told me that Mama cat will start ignoring that cat that I try to feed with the nipple is that true? Mind you I'm not going to unless I am way concerned but is that true?

No. mama cat will not ignore a kitten you are supplementing.  In fact if you give him back to her with a dirty face from the formula, she should bee happy to clean him up, the moms like the formula.

Thas good to hear, cause she really Iris has 3 working nipples not 4. It's so weird. It sure seemed like 1 of the kittens were sitting patiently waiting while the other kittens were eating. She was sitting near Mama's face. It was the most adorable thing ever. That patient little kitty though is the weakest one when it comes to walking but getting her or him away from Mom's nipple she'll put the fight on! It's funny but I break it up when I see that happening cause it's not fair that the other one is trying to steal that nipple! Thank you for Red. I appreaciate it.

I I just wanted to say that my Iris is doing really good as a Mommy & has gone back to being an excellent mouser!!!! The four kittens, well three are doing good but the smallest one of whom I call Tiny I'm concerned about. He or She doesn't move around as the other 3. I think he's a boy & was one of the first to be born. They all seem healthy even Tiny. It's just Tiny doesn't move arou d as much. Blacky who will be called Mac the knife, or Bear is one of the first that comes out from the dresser that I didn't want the cats to go to but since Randy wanted to get them out of the closet. I was just gonna let them stay so she had her own time with them but Iris didn't like him doing that & she moved them behind the dresser. The kittens who are now 3 weeks old come out from under the dresser or the side of the dresser. I was so surprised to see Blacky to be able to come from under the dresser because of how small it is. He's the chunkiest of all of them though. I call them Whitie, Blackie, Tiny & Torts. I think Torts is a boy, Whitie is definately a girl, she is turning out to be a siamese like Iris, Tiny & Torts are both striped but Torts I'm waiting to see how many colors he will be.  Torts is short for Tortoiseshell. I guess if he is, then Im wrong about the sex huh.Right now I see grey, black, brown, off white. All of the kittens respond to the names that I call them but I know when they leave they'll have to learn new ones. 

Do you have any pics of the kittens? We would love to see them. I'm glad to hear that they are doing well.

I'm gonna call the kittens out when Iris is done feeding them, then I will take some pics & do some video!!! It's just so dark in this room. I wish it had a central light but noooo this one doesn't have that. All but one come, it's cute. I'll be back!

Ok so I  just wanted to check on them & I said aww are you guys sleeping & then almost all came out. I feel bad cuz they were almost asleep I think. The last video I did though I just wanted to say good night & I turned on the flash light & said gn cuties!!! I love you Iris!!!! C u later!!! Love you Iris's babies! Then Blackie just came & ran out to me. Not expected!!!! But the last video is of Tiny!!! I won't be able to get those up till tomorrow cuz I need to turn this light off so they don't come out again. 

I forgot that I need to upload the videos to Youtube. Duh, so that will take awhile!!!! I'm gonna try other things but for now, I hope you all sleep good!!!
