This is Iris & Venus last year when they were both babies!!!  ===========================This is the spot that Iris has made herself comfortable, on my clothes that used to be on the filing cabinet  & some other papers. No room for her

She has had her 1st one!!!!! All of a sudden she was out of the closet & I started hearing squeek squeek, Turned out it was a kitten, not a mouse!!! Iris is cleaning it all up but she did go back behind the filing cabinet. I wanna do something but I'll wait!!!!

Keep a eye on her for signs of distressed and if she wants you there then be there

So my cat Iris had four babies the last two came bf 1:30am cuz  then I woke up to check on her, she was licking the black one still. They are all so cute. My youngest Katina was able to take a pic b4 Iris got back.  Unfortuntately my camera batteries are getting charged so that was the best I could do for now.

Is mana cat done now? Are all babies okay and nursing? Please do not handle them much the first couple of weeks as they are fragile. Congratulations! Also plan to get mama spayed after the kittens are weaned. :)

Congratulations!  I was away for a couple of days and came back to check and it seems you and Iris got through it all right.  Is everything still going well?

My baby is being a great mommy!!!! She is finally getting back into waking me up in the middle of the night for attention. I didn't miss that when she was pregnant & getting closer thas for sure. I need to put an ad on craigslist but I think I'll wait at least a month.  I am so greatful for everyone that has helped walk me thru my anxiousness. I was going crazy  you all helped. I looked forward to reading my messages & responses.I'm finally learning how to put pics  movies on here which is awesome!!! I wish I could get the movies from my other camera & the pics but I can't.

Adorable! So sweet. Yes, wait a bit on the ad. They should not be given away until they are at least 12 weeks old. Eventually they will all move a lot. There's always one who does everything first! :)

Yeah well I do believe whitey will be the first to follow her/his Mommy out the closet. What I'm afraid of is because there is all kinds of stuff in there they will get lost. We put our bags of chips in there so the girls don't eat all the chips right away or open em all up. Even though they are teens they still seem to open everything!!!! Blackey seems to cry alot though I'm wondering what's wrong. Whitey though seems like his or her eyes are starting to open a lil. That can't be right is it?I have been leaving the kittens alone but the cord that connects seems to be one the black one a lil. Could that hurt him or her?

Can you explain what you mean about the cord that connects? Do you mean the umbilical cord on the black kitten? It won't fall off immediately. Is there a problem with it or dies it appear infected? Is the black kitten nursing well? It shouldn't be crying all the time. Let's see if we can figure out what the problem is. Please give me more info on the cord and nursing.

Perhaps you can clean the bottom of the closet a bit and move the chips so it's safer for the kittens in there. Do you have them in a box, or just on the floor? The kittens will likely begin to explore outside the closet after about 3 weeks, but may want to return to the safety of the closet for sleeping.

And yes, they can begin to open their eyes very early on but still don't see very well in the beginning.

Thank you beautiful eyes!!! They are all so adorable & Iris still acts like my baby!!! I'm soo happy about that. Sarthur2 well I just felt one of the nipples on Iris & really there is no milk in that one. I figured she would only have 4 nipples to drink from & I am now think ing it's just 3 so I am gonna go get a bottle. I'll tell you that all white one's ears are changing & the nose. They are starting to go black. So she is gonna be the siameses in the bunch.I felt the stomach of her & her cord is now gone. I'm about to see how the black one does again today.  They are all still in the closet, I figured I would leave them in there for a few weeks. The white one might have already followed Mama & figured out how to get out fo there though. We'll see!

Well on two the cord is gone but again blackey was crying until I put her close to my heart & then she \he stopped.Mama is being so protective & should be. I'm no sure about them going to the bathroom or not, it drives me crazy but I made the decision to let them stay there.I think it's only gonna be for the week though. I'm not sure, ugh

I'm gonna move them before they actually explore anything. Right now they are on my clothes, next to a filing cabinet.  Right now we have no room on our house to hide these chips anywhere unfortunately, they are in a place where my kids won't get them. It's pretty safe in my closet especially where they are.
