Iris my 1 year old with a parent who is poor, excited, & waiting to c her kittens for the first & la

Ok so my cat is I year & 1month old.  When I got her, I made the decision to wait to get her fixed. I have never had the experience of being there when an animal has a litter, always had them fixed. Well a few months ago or something like that she did her horny stuff but I never thought she would actually find another available cat. The only one that I thought she could, left us last  january because of a chiwawa-shnauzer who barked his ear off. Itried to get him back but he stayed with our land lord. He became a barn cat. My husband who got blu(the other cat) never did anything for him. When I actually could, he ran away. Then with the landlord saying he hasn't seen him I figured he died.  Either way Iris has gained weight, started following me around all the time & is very touchy with her stomach.  I'm not going to take her to the vet just to find out if she's pregnant, I will let nature take it's course. I have been preparing if she is pregnant, & if within these next two months nothing else happens I have the food that she will then start on. I'm sure some of you will say I'm being irresponsible but honestly I'm working with what I got. I could just use all the advise I can get for if she is pregnant on one page ya know. I am happy to be part of the site now, I will always look in.  Can you help me?

My other daughter who is not a fan of our cat squeezed one of her nipples & she said liquid came out. Then I read that that can happen when they are in heat too. When she was touching her nipples though I told her to back off so we don't hurt her stomach.  Thank you Red Top Rescue for this information!!! I appreciate it! Is it true though about the nipples leaking though being a sign of almost time or being in heat?

Of course I just read how long the cats are pregnant for so I guess I really don't remember on when she was in heat. My memory isn't very good unless I have said or read things over & over. It was clear I'm pretty sure but that's when I noticed a flea near her butt & panicked. I think that's gonna be under control but after reading about the litter box I am very anxious & I'm working on not showing to much with her. Her litter is clumping( Aweful kind) & I don 't want her having them in her litter box. I have a pillow & towel under the bed where she goes after she decides not to sleep on the bed.  I'm thinking thas whre she's gonna have them. I am gonna be sure though to get a box just in case.

Well she is getting more clingy, and she is getting bigger!!!! What I thought was over two months ago, rally I'm not sure. I know she has lil babies in her & obviously  milk is coming in but it seems like the babies are getting bigger in her because I feel them getting bigger. I'm so afraid of her having them outside but my guy thinks that since she is indoor cat she will have em inside. When I tried to take a picture of her of course she just walked away so I know she is camera shy. When the flash is out.  I read that the pregnancy could be up to 75 days, geez I wish I knew that exact couple of days that she was in heat!!!!!! This is sooo new for me. That's why I'm so excited!!!! Plus it'll be the last time too.   Just have to be responsible & smart. I do think she is way to young for her to be pregnant though, she's just a baby. I was irresponsible, I should have made sure she was locked in those days! The past is the past though! I do know that 2 of the kittens are already gone. It only looks like she will have 4 too. I told Randy(my guy) if she has a tortoishell, I'm keeping it!!!!! Then oh well we have 2 cats & 1 dog!!!!!

I think she is real close with how clingy she is. But I will keep that in mind. Again I wish I could remember exactly when those days were, ugh!!!!

It doesn't matter so much that you don't remember the days because just like people, the expected birth date is just an estimate, and it can be earlier or later.  It will be whenever it is and all you can do is wait for it.  As long as she seems fine and healthy, there isn't anything to worry about.  Cats have been giving birth without our help for years!

So as of today the 21st of April,2015, it seems like my cat has been purrying more than usual. That to me seems like a clue!!! She seems to be moving around a lil bit more last night & today.I know she does her normal moving but I see more anxiousness. One of the spots that she has been getting ready was behind my filing cabinet in the closet, the other is now behind the tv & dresser. I decided to let her pick. She still has her mouser instincts though cause she has brought in a mouse last night & killed & ate almost all of the one from the night before.There was blood found in the hallway but we don't know who it came from because we have a dog too that could have been hurt. I think in her paw or just a mouse. Who knows!!!! I'm just letting you all know what's going on.

Thanks for keeping us posted!  We will keep checking back.  And if she's catching and eating mice, there's nothing to worry about right now.  She's just fine.

Aww but all she has ro do to catch the mice is sit in this one corner aaaaaa7 sooner or later thwy come out unfortunately but  thas what I kinda thought. Earlier she meowed out of nowhere when she is just laying there. I jumped up & calmed her down & then back to normal kinda.

I could have sworn that I saw her stomach move though!!!! Katina my youngest who says Iris is her cat says she felt the kittens. I was so nervous when she was touching her stomach after reading that thing on warning us not  to touch her stomach. She is getting uncomfortable though it looks like.

It fine to touch her tummy just don't go crazy like squeezing or pushing hard on it

Yeah she lets me, learily. That's how I calmed her down the last time. I think she might of had a dream or something.

I think she is starting her process because she was licking something up in the bed earlier, now she won't leave the closet at all. I tried to take her out & give her the box that I had made for her but she has been working on the part in the closet for a few weeks now. I've tried to convince her that the box is better but she's stuck in the closet & I don't want to pick her up too many times. I gave in to her meows  though cuz they were so convincing!!! Who knows!!! I'll show you a pic of her in the closet though. I hope I'll remember what to do.
