Oh my goodness that's a big number for a first time mom. It sounds like you are doing great. It normal for them to take breaks some times and it sounds like she's been hard at work and may need one.

Sooo, your cat had had a big litter. Wow! Congratulations! Are they all nursing well? If not, we can give immediate advice about what to do. Please let us know.

Since there 7, couple of them may not get enough milk so you might have to help feed one or two but let see how it goes

Adorable! Do not handle them unless you have to for first couple of weeks. Especially if they all seem to be doing well. Keep a close eye out for weight gain for all. Please ask us if you have any concerns or if one is not thriving.

They all seem to be gaining weight. They are fatter than the day they were born and they are stronger too. They all way about the same. The runt is barely smaller than the rest of them.

Around 4 ounces each. When will they be old enough to start walking around by themselves? Is it when their eyes open or is it a little bit later? When should I start handling them and introducing them to new things?

Around Two to three weeks you can Socialize(handle) them expose them to everything hair dryers, washer machine, people, kids (supervised them) cars rides anything you can think of but don't scared them to death (keep it short at first around 5 to 15 minutes as they get older you can handle them more)

Around three or four weeks they will start walking

Yes, anywhere from 7 to 10 days, but can be up to 14. Never attempt to pry their eyes open though, it can be damaging. My 4 all opened their eyes at different times. Longest took almost 2 weeks. Wobbly walking around 3 weeks. More sure-footed around 4 weeks. Don't handle much until about 3 weeks, and keep it short (5 to 10 minutes) even then, until they begin exploring more independently (4 weeks). Don't rush it. Enjoy it, because before you know it they will be into everything! :)
