A few days ago I saw a new cat coming to my colony food bowl. This is common, so I refilled the cat bowl. The cat fell in love with me. It is an unfixed male and although he doesn't hiss or fight, he is causing problems with all my other cats.
He isn't mean and has been clawing at my back door pleading for food. I can't give him food because if I do the others will come and be mean to him. Should I put posters up just incase he has owners? Or should I get him tested for the normal feral cat aliments/get him fixed?

I have to say that if he has owners, they aren't being very responsible, letting an unfixed male run loose.  But I would put up flyers and/or ask around.  The least you can do is check.  Call your local rescue/shelter with a description, too.  His owners may have called there, looking.

I personally would also get him to the vet and have him tested, just to be safe.  If your vet is like mine, he will also post info about the cat and try to locate his owners or a new owner, if that fails.

If you haven't had luck locating his owners after a bit, get him fixed.  He will have a better chance of finding a home if he's fixed and vet checked.  Personally, I would do that now but that's me.  That decision depends entirely on your situation.

Thank you for helping him!

Yeah.  The answer is in a way, fairly easy.  Please help him with the neutering, and also, if it is possible for you, he is surely a given candidate for fostering and adoption. being that friendly to you and not very hostile to other cats.

Its not even sure he is a friendly semiferal, he may be a home boy, whom have gone astray (adult intact males often do)  or got dumped.

The problem is, he may still have owners, and even still live at home, but wander around.

How and what you do, you must decide.

Tx for caring!

Good luck!
