Given Ming's recent diagnosis, I'd want to discuss any supplementation with a vet before using. Also, the product says it's designed to compensate for nutrient poor over processed diets. I think you said he gets decent (ie species appropriate) food anyway, so the supplement has a reduced value. If I was to supplement Ming I'd look for something that specifically targeted his conditions (chf and uti, right?).

Thank you. I'm basically going to say that to my mom and hopefully she gets the idea. It really does seem surplus.

Ming just is in risk of mild heart disease at this point. No UTI.

why that particular product? 
My mom is into drinking lots of these types of vitamins so she jumped on the wagon when she saw this. I just need some way to tell her no or assurance this product is okay.
