Hello :) please before you start bashing me I would love for you to know the story. I found a kitten in a ditch and I raised her. She had babies so I spent getting her fixed which is $40 where I go, she's my Nana's cat. I rescued several males and got them fixed as well. My aunt kept a kitten and now that she is grown up she is also pregnant :( Which makes me upset because she promised to get her fixed (I'll end up getting her fixed) I have helped with cat pregnancy. This cat is about three years old with her 3rd pregnancy. I made her several places in the house to have kittens. She loves me and meows at me when I talk to her. Well, a few weeks ago I just noticed her being pregnant. She has dug (that's why I made her spots) I did take her temp at 3:34 pm and it was 96 degree and something.. I don't want to do it to much lol.. I guess what I'm asking is your own experience with a cat that has dropped temp and making milk but not really doing anything? TIA!

Its apparently nearing.  But still, we cant know the exact hour.  As long as she seems fine, to troubles, no visible problems, you dont need to worry, just wait and held her a nice company, cheering her up.  If she allows you to rub and massage her tummy, do so.  It helps some  in this situation.

Im sending our links, but please come with reports and further questions as soon you do have any.

Good luck!!

Most of these links have been readied by our forumist  Red Top Rescue:

We have a good collection of articles in the Cat Health section which you can access by scrolling up to the brown bar, clicking on Articles, and then choosing the Cat Health section and scrolling through the choices.  To make this super easy for you, I am copying the links regarding birth, delivery and newborns for you here.  After reading this information, let us know if you have any more questions.  And good luck with your approaching new arrivals.

She will settle down and have those kittens inside. Just don't let her out. She has good places you made in the house.

The first litter she had the babies died except two and they were premature. When they were born the sac was filled with looked like was blood. I had to wipe them up and she wouldn't take care of them. Then she had a litter in the attic. That's why I'm worried about her delaying labor. This time I'm getting her fixed.. Seems like I'm the only person that does it around here. So if she has trouble I'm going to be very angry.

Let's hope all goes well. Just keep her in. Have you been feeding her a high protein diet? And good for you on getting her fixed after the kittens are weaned! :)

Yes :) I brought her in the room with me and she's eating. Does this mean she won't have her babies tonight? I got told if she eats its not time.

Eh, many cats eat all the time regardless. It's not a reliable predictor. And the babies could come tonight or tomorrow. Just be patient!

Actually I think she's having a contraction. Her belly got pretty hard.

Maybe pre-labor or early labor. Time will tell. Good luck tonight!
