Question of The Day. Saturday the 10th of April

Good morning.

Today's question is Where do you eat?

Do you sit down at the dining table, eat in front of the TV, or eat at your desk?

I have breakfast in front of my computer. It's usually just toast and coffee that I try not to get all over the keyboard.

If the weather is nice I have lunch out on the deck. There's always lots of birds and other wildlife around to keep me entertained.

I very rarely have time for dinner as I work from 5 pm to midnight, but on my one day off a week I either sit at the table or go out to eat.

Easy question for me - since Shadow has claimed the only dining table as his personal feeding place, all meals are eaten off our knees/on trays in front of the TV (big house, not many rooms and tiny kitchen).

We eat at the kitchen table, which Mogli Is constantly being pushed off at meal times. DH has created a monster by allowing him to sit beside his plate and beg or steal.

We eat mostly on the couch in the living room, where the tv is.  Our home is pretty old and small, no open floor plan here. The kitchen is a decent size and does have a table but, it's completely separate from the living and dining areas; no family room in the house.  So, we don't tend to utilize it for dining, it's more a catch all at this point.   Sometimes we eat at the dining room table if I've made a really nice dinner that requires real plates or, have company over.

It's one of the few things about having a small home I dislike but, since it's only the two of us living here it isn't really too much of a problem.

We eat at the dining room table. Sometimes, we eat breakfast on the screened in porch.

I have no table living in a small apartment so the couch is where we eat.

At work, everything is consumed at my desk.

At home, I drink my morning coffee back here at my desk. If I have a soda during the day, I drink it back here, too. Meals are always eaten at the table. I don't like eating in the living room with the tv on. We eat together at the table and talk about our day.

The only exception is during football season, when Rick eats in front of the TV and barely manages a "Thank you, dear" when I hand-deliver his supper to him at the couch.

i eat standing up. it's just me, and snick and jasper, so i don't feel the need for a (kitchen) table. sometimes i eat (standing) in the kitchen, and other times i eat near the wood stove in the living room.

I eat all my meals on the kitchen table.  I'm too much of a slob to eat anywhere else

We eat at the table. Sometimes when my husband is out of town my daughter and I will eat take-out in the living room and watch a movie or DVD.

We eat breakfast and lunch in the living room and dinner at the table as a family.

While the children were still home we ate round the table all together. When the family come on Fridays we eat round the table otherwise we eat in the sitting room opposite the TV.

I eat at my desk a lot.  This is the most comfortable chair in the house. lol  I also eat at the counter, on the couch and at the table...in that order...     At least my desk is in the kitchen area?

Most of my meals are in front of my computer. Sometimes I'll have lunch or dinner at my boyfriend's computer if there's a new video of a show he and I like to watch together. Some breakfasts, I eat standing in the kitchen watching the cats eat to make sure Mo doesn't bully Kismet away from her food.

When I visit my parents, I always eat at the downstairs kitchen table with them, or if I'm not the only one visiting home, the dining room table upstairs. If my parents aren't home, and especially if my brothers are also home visiting, we eat in front of the TV.

Breakfast and lunch are around the computer.. we eat dinner at the table every night.

Same here. The kitchen table is Lilith and Sophie's feeding station. Their food needs to stay off the floor or they'd starve to death and the dog would look like a hippo with black fur.

It's just me most of the time so I eat in the living room at the coffee table. Not that I eat alone though. I have Lilith, Sophie and Bailey lurking nearby in case I "feel" like sharing.

Breakfast - Dining room table, which is in view of the telly and just somehow a comfortable place to eat, quick check on the phone or read and have coffee.

Lunch - Varies!


Dinner - Either on the couch in the living room or futton in the den.

It's just me & Angel here, so I usually eat at the coffee table in front of the t.v. I just move things on it aside, & set my place mat down. I kept the old pillows from my old couch stashed under my new couch, so I just stack a couple to sit on! I have a table, but it would be lonely & boring to sit there alone. I just use it when I have a guest over for dinner.
