She sleeps loads eating a lot but from other posts some don't stop eating I just need a bit of advice really I wanna get her sprayed after she's had this litter cos she's a lovely house cat now she's not allowed back out ;) she's supper affectionate she comes on my lap to have a belly rub she's also found her nesting spot too

Tx for helping this little sis of ours, in her great need.   Prob a family girl whom got thrown out when she become pregnant.   Alike isnt not uncommon  among humans either.

It sounds she is quite near, less then a week probably.

Its not even sure you will see the drop, if she has dropped already...

Im sending our usual links, and wishing you and her good luck.

Please come with reports, and further questions as soon as you wish and need.

Ps.    I shall ask a mod to create your own tread of this your post.  You dont need to do anything.

Most of these links have been readied by our forumist  Red Top Rescue:

She's absolutely brilliant with my 18 month daughter she's just not wanting to leave me at all she's actually asleep next to me right now on my bed. Yeah her belly has dropped. So I'm unsure on when she got pregnant

The next morning she had 4 kittens but now she's super overprotective if someone comes she will take the smallest and move it and leave the other 3 she crys a lot and say like I'm sitting by the kittens or my daughter cos she's only 18 months she doesn't understand she either sits over them or puts her arm over them not sure whys she's like this. She comes out of the box a lot now when they have finished feeding and cleaning for cuddles and food but she's acting so weriod

Moms are usually protective.  its part of their job, isnt it?  Sometimes they overdo it, but such are the facts of life.

Try to analyse what is most stressing her, and "cut that out".  My suspiction is your little dau, although very friendly in her way and trying to help, is that  symbolic drop to make the cup  flow over...   Her moment will come in a three  four  weeks, when it will be imprtant to socialzie the kittens to small children too.  (yet, the mom may still be somewhat protective)

But  at this moment, dont stress the mom.  Its enough if you, mommas  Ma, are the only person who nears and helps take care of the kittens.

Good luck!

Well I can't cut my daughter out can I its her home the cat picked the nesting area in the living room rather than anywhere else so it's not my baby's fault I have tried to move her but she brings them back in

Ok, she may move them somewhere else in the house eventually. Mama cats usually like dark, quiet spots the first 3 weeks or so - like inside a closet with the door cracked. She will calm down more and more as times goes on. First-time moms are usually very nervous. I would not handle the babies at all right now. When she realizes there is no threat to her babies she will relax a little. Your mama cat is very pretty! :)
