Hey guys I know this isn't the right place but I don't know how to start a new thread on my tablet, carrying on I found an abandoned kitten yesterday and decided to take it home to care for it, we believe he is 6-7 weeks old and seems healthy, he is eating well and is starting to eat Felix jelly, however he hasn't been toilet yet and I'm becoming concerned?

Hi, Conner:  I have asked one of the moderators to make a new thread for this but until then, can you get some Dr. Elsey's kitten litter?  It has a smell that tells cats to "go here" and really helps them learn to use the litter box.  If you can't get it, make sure you bury his poop in the litter box.  If you can soak up any pee, bury the tissue in the box.  This will help realize the litter box is where his bathroom is!

I do not know what Felix Jelly is - a brand of cat food?  If you can get him wet kitten food, it has the extra nutrients he needs right now.

Thank you for helping him!

How sure are you of his age? Is it possible he is younger than you think? I think if he's taking to solid food no problem he is probably past this, but if he is younger you might need to stimulate him to go. The easiest way for both of you is a tip from our cat woman to run some warm water and place the bum beneath it, then tap gently with a finger. Can you post a picture of you aren't sure how old he is? Some people here are very experienced and may be able to tell you very accurately.

If you cant post a photo, can he walk? How does he walk? Does he have teeth? Does he play? Does he pounce? Does he run around? How much does he weigh?

Homeless often looks younger than they are, as they are seldom well nutrished.

You got excellent advices and follow up questions so far.

But my hypothesis is, he isnt pooing as yet because he is a little nervous, tensed up.    If tensed, they either poop often - at least humans do!

Or they dont poop even two fully days...

Be sure he has lots of water.

Does he seems scared, or is he almost as any friendly and curious kitten?    @ConnorSpencer
