Beh. Bebe Poleng. Polly. Our three years was surprisingly short but it was always filled with happiness and love. Sometimes, you are a naughty cat but I know, you are an adorable cat who loves to be hugged, stroked, and carried like a baby. Others viewed you as a pet but for me, you are my family. I love you so much, you know that and everybody who knows me knows that too. It's really hard for me to let you go but seeing you in pain, its okay. No one can ever replace you in my heart. I will always miss you. Someday, at the right time, we'll meet again and I swear, I'll give you the best, warmest, and most lovely hug ever. Goodbye Polly.

I am so sorry for your loss.  The length does not matter; the amount of love does.  I try to read & response to each thread on this forum because people were & are here for me.  I lost my little "everything" on Jan. 19 & each & every new post makes me cry.  Crying is good at this time. Beautiful picture of Polly!  We have to let them go when they are in pain & there is no hope for recovery.  It is the least we can do for them, after all they have given us, but it is so hard after they are gone.  Rest assured your Polly is running in the grass & sunshine with new & old friends.  She is probably saying 'don't feel bad for me mom; I am just fine'.  You will meet again in this life, the next or maybe just on the other side. 

Talk to Polly, she will hear you.  Talk to us & tell us all about her.  It helps!

  Riley1, that was BEAUTIFUL!   Godspeed, Bebe/Polly! many of our TCS kitties are over RB, waiting to welcome you!  And Ryana, please know that all of us here at TCS understand what you are going through and that our kitties are FAMILY!.. Do not hesitate to reach out to any of us - we know all too well the feeling of a broken heart, and how the healing often comes in stages - it's like having a shard of glass in your heart - the pain gets better and then some reminder jiggles that shard and the pain and the tears come flying back. For me, these lines from the song "The Last Goodbye" are comforting: "Oh, they say the moment that you're born is when you begin to die, and the first time we said 'hello' began our last goodbye".  Sending you hugs and prayers for healing from California!

I am so sorry for your loss. She was so adorable and just so beautiful. I certainly wish you all the best. She might have been with you for only 3 years, but you will have her in your mind for the rest of your life.

I do hope that pain isn't too hard on you.

I'm so sorry for your loss, Polly is absolutely beautiful in that photo. Cherish your memories, they will comfort you in the years ahead. She will occupy a space in your heart as long as you are alive, the hole she leaves in your life seems unending at times, time is the only thing that helps to soften the pain. My heart goes out to you, I cry too because I know the anguish of losing such a wonderful member of the family. Don't hesitate to share your pain with us, we understand and will try to comfort you in any way we can. You hurt so bad because you loved so much, bless your loving heart. RIP sweet Polly, you will never be forgotten!

I am truly sorry for your loss of Polly. I know how hard it is when we lose a special kitty. The length of time is not what matters. They may be with us one year or twenty years. The love is the same and so is the loss. Polly knew she was loved and loved you just as much. You gave her three wonderful years with you. Cherish those years and in time remember them with happiness.
She was a beauty!!

Thank you so much for all the kind messages. Its been a week since he (I'm sorry for not clearing his gender; he's a male half-Persian cat) passed away and during these last days, its so hard to accept everything. I feel responsible for his death. I'm glad that people in this forum encouraged me to write in this section. It helps me a lot. It also helps me to put his pictures as a wallpaper in my phone and every gadgets I have as well as writing our memories together in my journal. Slowly and surely, I'll move on, but I will never forget his adorable times with me. :)

I'm so sorry for your loss... it's so difficult and yes..we miss the naughty times as well...but...in time..you will be able to smile when you remember them. (hugs)
